We helped Unsnoozed turn generational awareness into action by designing the Generational Card Game. A playful, conversation-driven tool that makes workplace diversity tangible and unites teams through curiosity and laughter.

A game with a mission

To make generational dynamics easier to grasp, Unsnoozed created a card game that helps teams explore how different generations think, work, and communicate. The goal: spark open conversations, challenge assumptions, and build empathy in a light-hearted, accessible way. Our task was to bring this concept to life visually, fully aligned with the Unsnoozed brand identity and the UNSNOOZED Framework, ensuring it felt part of the same ecosystem as their campaigns, website, and activities.

Finding the right language

Talking about generations can be tricky. It’s easy to slip into clichés or labels. We wanted to visualise generational change in a way that feels recognisable yet neutral, without judgement. Our creative solution: show evolution through everyday work-related objects. From the typewriter to the laptop, or the corded phone to the smartphone, each icon captures change and perspective without defining people themselves.

Design that unites

We translated the idea into a clean, contemporary design system that balances playfulness with clarity. Generation cards feature evolving object icons and clear birth years, while situation and definition cards remain minimal, letting interpretation stay open and personal. Built on our Effective Content principles, every design choice served a clear purpose: staying true to the brand, resonating with diverse audiences, and fitting each context of use. The result is a game that feels unmistakably Unsnoozed. Designed to unite generations through play, turning curiosity and laughter into understanding, empathy, and stronger collaboration at work.
